On July 25th, several members of the Chicago Chinese Culture & Arts Society (CCCAS) performed a Qipao dance, “The Beauties Strolling in the Rain,” on NBC TV’s Channel 5 show, “Chicago Today.”

This special segment of the show was produced to promote the annual “Chinatown Summer Festival” held in Chicago on July 26th and 27th.

CCCAS’s participation served as an invitation to welcome all Chicagoland residents from different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, to attend the “Chinatown Summer Fair” and learn more about the beauty of Chinese culture and hertiage through song and dance performances, arts and crafts, martial arts demonstrations and Chinese cuisin

On July 12th, members of the Chicago Chinese Culture & Arts Society, performed at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the official launch of GLOBAL PATHWAYS MANDARIN & CULTURE STUDIO.

This new center is devoted to language, culture, education and global opportunity.
